Patch test
Any facial product or wax that is new to you is patch tested before the full service, so you are not finding out about a reaction a week before the wedding.
Timing the sessions
We schedule facials and waxing so your skin has time to settle before the wedding. Nothing new or strong goes on your face in the last few days.
Home care in between
You leave with simple home-care advice for cleansing, moisturiser and sunscreen, so the salon work is not undone by the sun between visits.

When to Start Pre-Bridal Care
Earlier is better. Skin responds to steady care over weeks, not to one strong treatment just before the wedding. As general guidance:
- A few months before: come in for a consultation and start a simple home routine with sunscreen.
- In the weeks before: have your facial sessions spaced out as we plan them.
- The final week: keep to gentle care only. No new products, no strong peels, no first-time treatments.

Do not try anything new in the last week. A new facial, a new wax or a new cream close to the wedding is the most common cause of last-minute redness and breakouts. Keep the final days calm and familiar.
Aftercare Between Sessions
- Wear sunscreen every day, and reapply when you are outdoors for long.
- For a day or two after waxing, avoid hot showers, tight clothes on the waxed area, and sun exposure.
- After a facial, skip scrubs and makeup for the rest of the day where you can.
- Drink water, sleep when you can and do not pick at spots. If a breakout is painful or spreading, see a dermatologist.
