Beauty Therapist
Full-time · Kozhikode
A beautician job in Calicut for someone who can understand what each client wants, suggest the right service and deliver it well within the standard time. You will report to the Salon Manager and keep your workstation, tools and hygiene to our salon standards.
What you'll do
- Consult with clients to understand their requirements and suggest suitable services
- Perform hair washing, cutting, blow-drying and styling services
- Provide hair treatments such as basic hair spa and conditioning, and other services as instructed by management
- Sanitise all tools after every client and keep the workstation clean and hygienic
- Help clients choose suitable hair care and beauty products, and promote salon services when appropriate
- Communicate with clients during the service to make sure they are comfortable
- Complete each service within the average standard time
What we look for
- Hands-on skill in hair washing, cutting, blow-drying, styling and basic hair treatments
- Confident, safe use of salon equipment such as scissors, dryers and straighteners

What you'll do
- Manage the overall daily operations of the salon and lead, motivate and supervise the team
- Greet customers, guide them to the right service and decide which stylist should work with each client
- Monitor client schedules and plan staff accordingly, making sure work is completed within the standard time
- Handle customer enquiries, follow up leads, and resolve complaints and operational issues

What you'll do
- Greet customers, direct them to the right staff member and explain current offers and loyalty programmes
- Record every customer transaction and monitor cash, UPI, card and other payments
- Maintain daily sales, expense and payment records and prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
- Track daily expenses and report unusual or high expenses to management

What you'll do
- Promote salon services and bridal makeup packages to potential customers
- Generate new leads through direct marketing, referrals, social media enquiries and networking
- Handle enquiries, explain available packages and services, and follow up to convert them into confirmed bookings
- Coordinate bridal makeup bookings with the salon team and keep accurate appointment records
