Last updated: 28 September 2026. This policy explains what personal data popyz.in collects, why, who else handles it, and the choices you have. It is written for visitors in India and follows the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

This website is run by Popyz Beauty Lounge, Gandhi Road, opposite Regal Bakes, Kozhikode, Kerala 673011, India (“Popyz”, “we”). For anything about your data, call +91 81369 97390 or message us on WhatsApp, or write to us at the address above.
What we collect, and why
When you send a bridal enquiry
The form on the Bridal page asks for your name, phone number, wedding date, the look and package you are interested in, how you heard about us and an optional message. We use this only to reply to you, check our availability for your date and plan your bridal service.
When you subscribe to beauty tips
The form on the Blog page asks for your email address. We use it only to send you beauty tips and salon news. You can ask us to remove you at any time.
When you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone
Our “Book” and “WhatsApp” buttons open WhatsApp with a message already typed. Nothing is sent until you press send. Messages you send are handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy, and we see your name and number as WhatsApp shows them.
Information stored in your browser
If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. Your cookie choice is stored the same way. It never leaves your device. We do not use advertising cookies.
Server logs
Like every website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
Who else handles your data
- Netlify, Inc. hosts the website and receives the enquiry, booking and newsletter forms.
- Google shows the map on our Contact page. Loading the map lets Google see your IP address. Our fonts, photos and videos are served from our own site, not from Google.
- Nykaa and Amazon: our Shop page links to products on their sites through affiliate links. When you click one, that store may set its own cookies to record that you came from us; what you do there is covered by their privacy policies.
- WhatsApp (Meta) handles any message you choose to send us. Instagram and YouTube links take you to those services, which have their own policies.
These providers may process data outside India. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where the law requires us to.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages help visitors most (for example, how many people open the booking page or tap WhatsApp). It only runs if you choose Accept on the cookie banner; if you choose Decline, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google Analytics. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. To change your choice later, clear this site’s data in your browser and the banner will ask again.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and booking, and any records the law requires us to keep. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. After that we delete the data or make it anonymous.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- delete it, or stop using it where you had given consent (for example, the newsletter);
- let someone you nominate exercise these rights for you if you are unable to.
Contact us using the details above. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Photos on this site
The photographs on this site show work done at Popyz Beauty Lounge. If you appear in a photo and would like it removed, contact us and we will take it down.
Children
This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without a parent’s or guardian’s consent.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
