When to see a doctor first: a hair spa is cosmetic care. It is not a medical treatment for hair loss or scalp disease. If you have sudden or heavy hair fall, bald patches, red or painful scalp, sores, or thick scaling, please see a dermatologist. Hair fall can have causes like thyroid, low iron, hormones or stress that need a proper diagnosis. Once your doctor has checked you, we are happy to look after your hair alongside their advice.
What Happens at a Hair Spa Appointment
Look at scalp and lengths
We check how oily or flaky the scalp is, how the ends feel, and ask about any colour, smoothening or recent treatments. If you are trying a product for the first time, we do a patch test.
Cleanse
The hair and scalp are washed to remove oil and build-up, with a product chosen for your scalp type.
Treatment and massage
The spa product is applied to the scalp, the lengths, or both, with a scalp massage.
Steam or processing time
Depending on the spa, the hair is steamed or left to process so the conditioning works.
Rinse, dry and advice
We rinse, dry and finish your hair, and tell you how to look after it until the next visit.

- Our hair loss treatments focus on scalp cleansing, massage and conditioning. We do not promise that any spa will stop or reverse hair fall.

How Long a Hair Spa Lasts, and Aftercare
A hair spa is maintenance, not a one-time fix. The softness and a fresher-feeling scalp usually last for some days to a couple of weeks, depending on your hair, water and routine. Regular sessions are what make a difference you can see.
- Wait until the next day before washing again, unless we tell you otherwise.
- Choose a mild shampoo for your scalp type and always condition the lengths.
- In the monsoon, dry your scalp properly before tying your hair or covering it.
- If you oil, keep it to the lengths or wash it out well; heavy oil on a flaky scalp can make it worse for some people.
- Use a heat protectant and lower heat when styling.
