Good bridal makeup is mostly planning. By the time the wedding morning comes, the look should already be decided.
Consultation
We talk through your functions, timings, outfits, jewellery, hairstyle and the look you want. This is also where I explain the difference between our bridal options and help you choose.
Skin check and patch test
If you have sensitive skin, allergies or are on any skin medication, tell me here. We patch test products that are new to you. For an active skin condition, please see a dermatologist well before the wedding.
Trial session
Where your package includes a trial, we do the full look so you can see it in daylight and in photos, and we adjust it together.
Wedding day
Skin prep, base, eyes, lips, hairstyling and dupatta or saree setting, with the jewellery placed last so nothing shifts. We plan the start time around your function time so you are not rushed.
Touch-ups and the next look
Before you leave, we go over how to blot and touch up. If you have booked a reception look, we change the makeup and hair for the evening.

Bridal Makeup – Ruby and Bridal Makeup – Sapphire
These are our two main bridal makeup options. Brides always ask what separates them, and the honest answer is that it depends on what you need on the day, so I explain the difference properly at your consultation rather than in a line on a website.
Airbrush Bridal Makeup
Airbrush makeup is applied as a fine mist through an airbrush rather than with brushes or sponges. It builds coverage in thin layers and gives a smooth, even finish that many brides like for close-up photography. Whether it suits your skin is something we look at together during the consultation.
Reception Makeup and Party Makeup
For the evening reception, the engagement or a family function before the wedding, we do a separate look. Many brides go a little bolder at night to suit the lighting.
Saree Draping
We drape silk, kasavu and lighter sarees and pin it so the pleats sit neatly in photos and stay in place through the day.

- Bridal Party — the full bridal package plus makeup for up to four bridesmaids and the mother of the bride, a group trial, an artist on site all day and complimentary touch-ups.

How Long Bridal Makeup Lasts, and Aftercare
With good skin prep and setting, bridal makeup is built to last through a full wedding day. In humid Kozhikode weather, how long it stays fresh also depends on your skin type, the heat at the venue and how much you touch your face. A few things help:
- Keep a soft tissue or blotting paper in your bag and press, do not rub.
- Carry the lipstick used on you for a top-up after meals.
- At night, take makeup off gently with a cleansing oil or balm, then cleanse and moisturise. Do not sleep in it.
